If you’re having trouble with email these simple troubleshooting steps might help:
- The first thing to do is to verify that your IP address isn’t being blocked and that your username and password are what you expect. The easiest way to accomplish that is to try to login using webmail. If you don’t know how to access webmail please contact us.
- If you can’t access webmail, or your website, your IP address has probably been blocked by our application layer firewall. This can happen if you try to configure a new device but aren’t sure of your settings. That can cause multiple authentication failures making your IP address look like a bad guy to our firewall. With enough failures we will, initially temporarily, but ultimately permanently block your IP address. To have your IP address unblocked please send your IP address to Support. If you don’t know your IP address you can discover it by pointing your web browser at ipinfo.io. If you follow the link to Support from a browser on your network we’ll record your IP address automatically.
- If you can access webmail but still can’t login you’ve probably forgotten your password. You can reset your email account password using your Hosting Control Panel. If you need help accessing your control panel please contact us.
