Co-location Information

Rebooting A Co-located Server

Using a telnet program, telnet to the remote reboot server. The server name, username, and password was assigned at installation. Below is an example.

switchname: rpc3-2.netgate.net
username: joeuser
password: pass4joe

To reboot your machine, type :

reboot <selection number>

where selection number is the number displayed with your outlet. The selection number will probably be 1. Below is a sample telnet session from a UNIX command line, using a telnet program from a Windows or Mac desktop will differ slightly.

unix prompt> telnet rpc3-2.netgate.net
